Beginning Spanish II
Beginning Spanish II This course is a continuation of SPAN 0101. Intensive reading, writing, and oral activities will advance students’ proficiency in Spanish in an academic setting.
I felt that this professor did not have time to actually teach the students. He has students do a lot of homework but does not grade the homework or really even look at it. I really wish I had more positive things to say because in class he is enthusiastic and pleasant. I just hope he adjusts the homework so it can be more helpful for the students.
This class was extremely helpful for my Spanish learning. Grading was fair, lightish workload, and a great professor overall. I have continued with this professor and she is by far the best Spanish professor I have ever had.
I had a great time in this class, and Alla was an incredible professor. We met almost every day, and had homework every day, which is pretty typical of the languages at this school. There was lots of practice in all aspects of language, and we had written homework, four videos from 3-5 minutes to practice speaking, and a couple of essays to practice writing. This is a grammar-heavy course, but I learned more this semester than in years of studying Spanish in high school. This class was styled as doing the homework before the class, to come in to practice skills and ask questions. Alla was an incredibly thoughtful professor, and was more than accommodating with deadlines and extra help.

She is a very good teacher and very flexible with homework assignments. She does give a lot of home work but it only helps you learn the language better. I would recommend you this professor as she's very passionate about her work.
I love Laura. She is an awesome professor, however, the content is just very grammatically heavy which makes this class difficult. It also doesn't count toward a distribution requirement which is annoying if you need the LANG.
He was a very helpful teacher in learning the fundamentals of Spanish. Every class was a slightly new topic but each class built on the previous. He did not require a lot of connect work and had take home exams.
