I was initially scared taking a 200 lvl language course at Midd but this one is still borderline entry level. The first month or so we reviewed ser and estar, and many students in the class speak English on occasion. Regardless, it is still a good class and is very thorough with grammar. A fair amount of homework though compared to 220 is what I've heard. Also have to attend language tables which you do not in 220.

Lots of homework but not a difficult course. Took it with Gloria Gonzales Zenteno and she was a very enthusiastic professor who really wanted to see her students succeed. She was also very accommodating and willing to help students if they were struggling.

I took this course after taking some time off of Spanish. It was pretty fast paced and definitely not an easy class to get back into. However, as long as you do the readings and engage in class, it will help you get better at speaking and writing in spanish.
