Alla was more than accommodating to student needs, and her lecturing style was very relaxed. She would ask questions in lecture and then present the answers or lead us to the answers most of the time. There was only one essay in the class, and a revision assignment of that essay.

I was initially scared taking a 200 lvl language course at Midd but this one is still borderline entry level. The first month or so we reviewed ser and estar, and many students in the class speak English on occasion. Regardless, it is still a good class and is very thorough with grammar. A fair amount of homework though compared to 220 is what I've heard. Also have to attend language tables which you do not in 220.

Lots of homework but not a difficult course. Took it with Gloria Gonzales Zenteno and she was a very enthusiastic professor who really wanted to see her students succeed. She was also very accommodating and willing to help students if they were struggling.
