this course covers a great deal of material, some of it stretching the boundaries of what can be considered behavioral neuroscience, but Professor Zhai is a great teacher and a makes the content engaging nonetheless. His exams require a lot of memorization (but so does this subject in general) but are graded very fairly and don't require too much knowledge of superfluous detail. There are required readings for every class, but I personally did very few of them and got fine grades on assessments and homework. Despite what seems to be the popular opinion, I find Zhai to be a very enjoyable professor and person to be around and I like his teaching style a lot.

Class was alright. My first B at Middlebury. Woolridge was quirky and a decent professor. I am sure she will be much better in a few years. Really interesting topic. Wish I had tried harder throughout the whole J term.
Really cool class, amazing professor. Cave makes any class worth taking but this one was pretty cool. Learned alot about the history of neuroscience and took it at the same time as 251 which was wonderfully complimentary. Would reccomend to just about anyone! No prior knowledge needed at all, if I wasnt majoring in neuro I would still retake.
