THE BEST CLASS EVER! Prof. Stein is a wonderful professor who is extremely passionate about her subject. You could get away with the readings if you attended the screenings and discussed about them in class.
Prof.Stein is very passionate about the materials we cover in the class and is also very knowledgeable about the K-pop industry. The style of the whole class is exceptionally engaging and fun. Students are able to truly feel how K-pop is and enjoy it. The workload is easy compared to other classes. But to achieve a great understanding, reading through every week's materials very carefully and thinking deeply about them are pretty important. This class really pushes students to keep thinking deeply and come up with original thoughts. Definitely recommend this class to all those who are or are not fans of K-pop!
