Ustada Maryait was a very nice and accommodating Professor, but the class itself is a little hard. It requires you to be constantly on your toes and ready. If you fail to grasp one topic, if you fail to understand one list of vocabulary, it could really set you up for failure.
I love Professor Khader she is actually the funniest and most engaging professor. She was an amazing teacher of the language and takes it easy on those who are slower at picking things up. She assigns homework but it is important repetition that I wouldn't have learned as fast without. Also, she doesn't mind giving you extra slack if you need.
Dima is truly the best. She transformed the class into something larger than life — not just a course, but a collective learning experience. Every session felt intentional, creative, and alive with ideas. She cultivated an environment where everyone’s voice mattered, and that made the class feel like a genuine community of thinkers rather than a traditional lecture.
