Maryait is so sweet and excited to share the arabic language with her students. It's a hard subject, but if you like it and put in the work, you'll do well and Maryait will help a lot. We had nightly textbook homework, two partner video projects, quizzes every other week, a final and midterm exam, and required arabic events outside of class. Study the vocab early and often so that you don't have to cram.

This class found a way to be both very challenging and engaging, and very fun. Ustadha Ayoub is very passionate about the material and was very helpful in learning the concepts. The class is difficult, but very doable with regular engagement in the homework and class. I highly recommend taking this class!
Ustada Maryait was a very nice and accommodating Professor, but the class itself is a little hard. It requires you to be constantly on your toes and ready. If you fail to grasp one topic, if you fail to understand one list of vocabulary, it could really set you up for failure.
