This is a decent course and not too bad for a requirement. Pretty normal econ class with one problem set each week, 2 midterms and a final. grade is calculated between problem sets, highest midterm score and final score. the in-class experience often felt super slow and sometimes felt that the class would go on forever due to a somewhat slow teaching style but it can be nice because you get to hear everything multiple times.

I've taken this course with Raphaelle in the morning and it would be hard to focus during lectures because of how low the energy levels were. The way the material was explained were not always well-explained and some days I leave the room not fully sure of what the lecture was about. The grading in this class was very tough, 70% exams and 30% of the problem sets. I did like her office hours better than her lectures. However, I would not recommend taking this course if it's in the morning.
