Mark Evancho
It is an absolutely amazing class. I loved every single minute of it. The professor and the staff that are basically professors are some of the best amazing people. I made very close friends though this class and nice mental break for the most part with physical work.
This would be a great class if you want to major in theater or doing something related in the future. However, it is not a good choice if you are trying to get the art credit. The class itself is fun and supportive. It is heavy labor for six hours per week. Besides the classes there are quizzes with readings. And you need to spend extra time besides class to work at the theater even during weekends.

This class was technically taught by Mark Evancho but was for the most part actually taught by Jeremy, and, depending on the project, Jim, Mark, or Tony. The structure of class was very different from others I've taken. Twice a week you would show up from 1:30 to 4:15 and work on whatever project they needed help with at that particular time. Sometimes that was building flats for the set, painting backdrops, making or modifying props (including working with the costume shop on a doll), addressing lights, or any number of different activities and projects. While you are allowed to leave right at 4:15 there were frequent offers to stay later in exchange for a better grade in certain areas. Occasionally Mark would show up and give quizzes but his grading was so lenient that you could easily pass these without having done the reading. All the instructors were very passionate about their work and seemed very excited to share it with new people. They were also very willing to explain (and in some cases re-explain) the process of whatever they were asking us to do, and were always open to questions.
