This was a great course. I took it in on the recommendation of a fellow student and was not disappointed. For my project, it ended up being a significant amount of work outside of class. But I will say that even so, the work was worth it, which made the whole thing easier to deal with. The professors were both very accommodating and were always open to meeting if you ever had a question or felt like you were unsure of where to go with your project. Definitely recommend the class, especially if you're looking to give back and do some good.

I enjoyed the class, and Kristen, my professor, was always accommodating. Classes are set up to help you understand the final project, which is working with an outside organization. I worked with the Boys and Girls Club, and it was a lot of fun.
Kristen Mullens was a great professor! I took the course because I needed to fill my schedule, and I am so glad I did. We had one project throughout the semester, a 250 word writing reflection once a week, and it was a really easy class. It doesn't fill any distribution requirements, but besides that- if you are looking for a really easy A, I highly recommend this class!! (Kristen only teaches in the fall too, so I am not too sure how the Spring professor is).
