This class was okay. The first few lectures felt very fast paced, but as the semester went on it felt like he got a better understanding of how to teach the class. The class average on the first midterm was pretty low, so the next couple exams had a study guide where some of the questions were put directly on the test. It definitely felt like he wanted his students to succeed. There was also an interesting project where people were able to work in groups and talk about a topic of their choice.

I loved the class and Jason. The teaching style was very much lecture style and understanding concepts/synthesising information. I found that to be straight-forward, well laid out and useful. Others that dislike lecture style may not love this class. All in all very happy with the class. Do the work and practice problems and you will be set for a good grade :)

I think for his first year teaching he is a pretty solid professor. He's pretty chill and there is never any surprises on his exams. Theres never any homework but if you do the assigned practive problems you should have no problems passing the exams.
