This course was fantastic! I enjoyed the topics covered, and the homework and tests were relatively straightforward. However, it's essential to study the topics that will be discussed before attending class the next day, as Craven's teaching style isn't as clear-cut as that of other professors. If you're not familiar with the material, you might find it challenging to follow along. I recommend checking her syllabus regularly to stay updated. I also highly encourage attending her office hours; she is very friendly and accommodating. Despite her unique teaching style and occasional tangents, I definitely recommend this course for beginners!

It was not hard but boring. Lecture styled class but she made it easy to follow and was effective in teaching. You won't be happy in twilight hall but as long as you attend class it is easy enough and grading isn't harsh.
This was my first class ever in economics, and I thought Professor Craven did a good job of covering a wide range of material. The class sometimes seemed to have a lack of structure in a lecture style, going all over the place, but she would change homework or exams based on what material was actually taught in class. I found the problem sets to be very useful when studying for exams and would highly recommend utilizing her office hours. Professor Cravens will take the time to explain topics in more depth and help with problem sets and questions during office hours, which was very nice. Overall, I thought Professor Craven was a good professor, but I wish her lectures were more structured. Her exams were sometimes hard, but she provides practice exams and multiple problem sets to help fully prepare. If you use the practice problems and study those for the exam, you will be GOOD!.
