Anne Goodsell

I rated the course super low because the course itself sucked but Professor Goodsell is genuinely the sweetest person ever. She cares so much about her work and her students, but it was clear that she's not very experienced with teaching reading/writing-based classes. The assignments were just kind of ridiculous and I found the readings to be quite boring but I have no interest in physics to be fair. She tends to be a little meandering but we'll forgive her for it because she's so nice. The best class our of the whole semester was the one where we did a physics lab instead of reading/writing-- she seemed SO much more dynamic and in her element. Otherwise soooo mediocre/boring.

Anne is actually the nicest professor that I have ever had. She did tend to take longer to explain directions than was needed, but this might be due to her background as a physics teacher. Anne tried her best to keep class engaging and worked to bring in many guest speakers and other students to ensure that we got as much out of the class as possible.

Professor Goodsell is so sweet and caring. She brings us food everyday since our class is during lunchtime, which is insanely generous. She is very open to everyones ideas and gives a lot of freedom in our essays to chose what we want to focus on.
