Amitava Biswas

Professor Biswas is incredibly knowledgeable in this field. I felt that this class contained lots of valuable information. However, the lectures mostly brushed up on a HUGE variety of topics, rather than actually focus on remembering the information. As others have mentioned, you get what you put into the class. I enjoyed attending labs because it was enjoyable to spend time with Professor Biswas, who was incredibly passionate about what he was teaching. The class will result in an easy A if you do all the homework and classwork. The only negative part of the class is the fact that I do not feel confident to take other classes that have this course as a prerequisite.

Professor Amitava is a great professor. He is very knowledgeable about the course materials he teaches. Plus, the grading for this class is very chill. As long as you do the homework, your grade is guaranteed. Additionally, there is a 2 hours lab every Tuesday where you can learn more topics outside of the curriculum if you are interested in expanding your knowledge in finance/consulting.

All of the material was very digestible and very interesting. When it came to home work it was a little tedious but not hard by any means. It is effort-based so the class overall is not very hard and easy to do independently.
