Amitava Biswas

This class was super easy. I had it with Biswas and he's actually super super chill and a really easy teacher. He's very upfront with you about his grading. No late work accepted, but it doesn't really matter because the work is really easy. You could lose like 150 points total for the semester and still end up with an A. Very good class if you need a gpa boost.

Professor Biswas made Business Analytics a pretty rewarding class overall. He's a very lenient grader, which allows students to get the grade they desire despite difficult projects and exams at times. He's very honest and a down-to-earth guy that you should definitely talk to outside of class. His teaching style is very hands-on, so those who don't like lecture-style classes will feel very engaged. Students may feel uneasy about the class content at first, as it seems very difficult and he goes a bit fast at the beginning, but don't worry, as things start to flatten out very quickly after the first few weeks. The class is centered around Excel work and presentations, often looking at real data from Middlebury.

A good dive into Business - Prof Biswas is great and very passionate about the content. Weekly quizzes and lots of work on Excel, the class is pretty chilled out and easy if you do the readings. He makes an effort to get to know each student. Overall, great course, and not very stressful and easy to manage.
