Amitava Biswas

This class was very middle of the road. It wasn't super life changing in the course material. And Biswas, while a super understanding Professor, was rather unengaging. We were constantly doing projects (which made sense for a marketing class), but it definitely got old after a while. He came off disorganized at times. But, we watched a lot of films (discussion felt unnecessary a lot of the time), and he provided us with some really valid resources. Overall, I didn't love this class, but I didn't hate it either.

The professor is really passionate about the course. Even though I had some basis in business I sometimes get lost in class, the materials are quite vague in my opinion and in class he speaks very fast and what is a pity is that the subjects are very interesting but he barely speaks about anything. I found it interesting but I don't think I would be taking this class again. The professor is really kind, he is very available for the students and very passionate. I guess if you are really into business and finance it can be a good class, but you have to hold on.

The instructor speaks very fast and it is honestly hard to learn the material if it is your first time seeing it. But, he is a very easy grader and it is easy to get an A in the class. That being said, take this if you have the opportunity to but you will get more out of this course if you have some prior finance experience.
