AJ is an awesome professor and I loved taking this class with her. Material is hard to conceptualize but if you have a decent background in chemistry it is digestible. Lab work is fun and usually a small class which is tons of fun!
CHEM 0104 was definitely one of the more challenging courses I've taken at Midd, but highly rewarding. I didn't love Professor Rahn's teaching style (lots of groupwork and struggling through problems yourself before she would explain them), but it was manageable and her exams were fair. I think the real reward from this course came from Prof. Dube's lab. While time intensive, Prof. Dube definitely strengthened my lab skills, in both technique and in scientific writing. She is also a fair grader and wants to see you succeed. I thought this was a super rewarding course for me, as someone who didn't have a ton of lab/research experience at the time.

ACCIDENTALLY PUT THIS FOR CHEM 205 IT SHOULD BE FOR CHEM 103!!! I really enjoyed having Bunt as a prof. He was super helpful in office hours and did weekly quizzes, which def helped with understanding the material. It was rather fast-paced, but a review of chemistry from high school concepts, I thought. He was super passionate but would sometimes get carried away due to that passion, but with office hours, it all worked out. For being such a short class you will learn a lot which has definitely been used in chem 105 (which I'm currently taking).
