I thought that the material was interesting and I had to take the class. However, it seems that the sections taught by Guiberson and Miller covered pretty different material, which made me wonder which had the more important elements. The exams were hard not because of the material, which was difficult to fully grasp but doable with time. They were hard because the questions were often unclear and sometimes felt like they were trying to trick you. Prepping for exams was stressful because often I didn't know what to do.

Didn't love how he lectured, nothing ever really made total sense and the exams were way harder than practice problems and stuff we had seen. He didn't curve the final and the average was low. Was helpful in office hours.
Instrumental was extremely challenging across the board. Be prepared to do a lot of excel work and statistical analysis, although that isn't explicitly stated in the syllabus. Most of the semester's class/lab time was spent testing methods for Kira and Molly's personal projects and it was pretty cool developing our own methods for hops analysis and pb quantification via SPCE. However, the application note writing assignments and weekly quizzes were kind of brutal.
