My gen chem experience with Prof Rahn was very positive. She is a very enthusiastic professor who is happy to answer questions and is very accommodating. The class is split between lecture and group work, with the work being very applicable to both the lectures and the assessments. The exams are manageable with studying. Overall, its really the lab component that makes this course difficult.

Kira was a great professor and was very knowledgeable about the material. I would say most of the work comes from lab but the work isn't extremely difficult, just tedious at times. Study for exams and you'll be fine.

Dr. Rahn is the best professor I've had at Middlebury. Super excited to teach and learn, very organized, taught everything in class making readings not really necessary. Weekly homework assignments and quizzes ensured you kept up with the material. Exams were very straightforward, and she allowed a reference sheet that you could write notes on. Wonderful class.
