Steve Abbott

I loved this course with Abbott. It is a very thorough class with lots of smaller assignments and encouraged office hours/learning. Abbott really cares about students being engaged and learning and I would take another class taught by him.

Professor Abbott is clearly a very good and passionate teacher. However, the tests are very difficult especially the second one, it is very fast paced and important to do the homework to stay on top of it.

I took this class my first semester on campus. Even though it met the most out of any of my classes(4 times per week) and was at 8:40, it was still my favorite class. I have always been a math person, but this was by far the most helpful and clear teaching I have ever had in any math class. The homework load is not bad at all, but the class is sort of fast paced and exams can be tough, but because the homework isn't too long, it is easy to spend a lot of time studying for tests, which lots of review material is provided for.
