Spring Ulmer
Interesting class. I enjoyed the work-shopping aspect of the class. Sometimes the objectives are unclear but overall easy. Great professor that really cares about the class and your writing. There are reading reflections for four books (2 pages), and three personal writings that are workshopped and then a rivision. So chill class.
This course was a really interesting environmental lit course. Spring's teaching style is discussion-based and pretty open ended - students drive the class trajectory. I think this is a course where you'll get out as much as you put in. There are no strict requirements to participate in class and the reflection assignments are up to your own interpretation.
This course was a ton of fun, got me out of my comfort zone in a low-stakes environment. It was very creative which was a nice break from my typical schedule, and I really enjoyed how most of it was small group work so I really got to know my classmates.
