Roger White

I have really enjoyed this course! I took it because I needed my ART requirement and it really has added to my liberal arts experience, since this isn't a course in my major. There are some readings that you can get away with not doing, though we have discussions in most classes but it's very chill. Professor White is an easy grader if you do the assignment; it isn't based on your art expertise, more about if you have completed it or not. A few projcets that have lots of flexibility with what you can do for it. Overall, great class and great Prof!

Professor Roger White is very friendly and kind who is very approachable in the face of any problems. His class is also very interesting breaking down different theorists of color theory with manageable reading. I love his color study work where we would visit the library and study the color interplay of a chosen work. Also is the final paper where we would choose a color and study it from any perspective we want. Would definately recommend his class!

This was a really great art class!! As someone who has never taken art before, the material was straightforward and we often had control over the work that we wanted to produce. The project assignments would be given in class, and oftentimes they could be completed within the class. However, there were some projects that did require time outside of class in order to complete them. Overall, I definitely enjoyed this class!!
