Peter Matthews

Peter Matthews is great and classes are not that boring. Sometimes he is a little bit confusing in class, but his office hours are really helpful. Problem sets really help review for exams which are not easy but not hard

Really nice teacher and very chill person. He encourages you to do your best, and is very passionate about his topics. He will go on tangents and may sometimes spend a little too much on one topic. But he is very approachable and super helpful

This class was very interesting, and a good step into the Econ world. The quizzes have been hard, and I spend a lot of time studying for them, but there is learning curve. Most of the class is reliantly on the textbook which I recommend reading. He is very passionate about the topic and I really enjoy him as a person. Although I think he would be a better professor not in an intro level class. I would love to take a class with him again, and lectures keep you on your feet since he cold calls which really isn't that bad.
