Noah Graham
Probably the toughest math class I've taken at Midd. Went in not knowing what to expect, and Prof Graham's palpable enthusiasm was motivating for grappling with relatively difficult material. The concepts were super interesting (if not directly applicable to most other areas of math at the undergrad level) and the problem sets were really well constructed. I'd say there was a noticeable step up in difficulty for the last couple problem sets and the last exam, so be prepared for that. Thankfully, there is a pretty generous curve to go along with the increased difficulty. Overall a positive experience, but would only strongly recommend if you like math/physics enough to struggle with material you may or may not ever see again.

It was really hard. If you haven't taken classes past multivariable and are not cracked at math, don't take this class and wait until you have more experience under your belt. The professor was really enthusiastic, but not enough to make the class enjoyable.
Noah Graham is one of the best professors that I've had at Middlebury. Though his class is challenging, I really liked his inclass examples. Wait until you talk about resistors in class and his demo ends up being really fun!
