Michael Czekanski
I thought the projects/tests were very similar to what we did in class. At times, it was hard to pay attention since it was an 8am, but overall enjoyed my experience, although the topics were relatively difficult.
Professor Czekanski wasn't always clear on certain topics during lecture and the homework would be confusing because of it. The exams for this class were pretty hard and it was unrealistic to complete the whole exam with the content we knew in the given time.
This course was challenging in that I felt a fairly steep learning curve figuring out r. The prof's explanations in class were not always the most clear, but he was very accessible in Office Hours and happy to help as much or as little as needed (he often explained things to me 4 or 5 times). The first exam was challenging (average score in the C range), but the final project was fairly easy and graded for completion. There were also some hiccups with the TA and grading that made aspects of the course feel a bit haphazard.
