Matthew Kimble

Professor Kimble is a great lecturer who includes personal anecdotes that relate to the material that make it easy to stay engaged. His lectures were easy to follow and included all the material needed to do well in the course. The exams and grading were fair, there was a research paper due at the end of the semester.

Mr.Kimble made this class interesting by implementing case studies where the students would be the psychiatrist and he would act out a certain psychological disorder, and we would not diagnose but state the symptoms and our hypothesis in essay form. His lectures were always quite engaging, he would have personal anecdotes connecting to the topics we're learning. The quizzes are not hard if you study the slides and read the readings he gives in the discussion section.

This course is difficult as it requires a lot of writing, but taking it with Kimble made it a lot easier. There was one quiz and a test both based off class lectures. The entire semester you spend all of your time coming up with a research topic and writing a paper on it.
