Matthew Kimble
Professor Kimble is very passionate about Psychology and teaches the course in a way that is interesting and engaging. There is reading assigned for every class from the textbook and some other sources, and the textbook mostly reinforces what he talks about in lectures. There are 4 quizzes (every 2 weeks), a midterm, a research paper, and a final exam. Overall, this course requires a decent amount of studying but if you apply yourself and pay attention the content is not too difficult.

Kimble is an effective teacher. The course has several quizzes during the semester which makes it easier to score well overall and prepare for the exams. The content is always explained in ways which make it easy to understand and contextualized with his life stories.
The class has a lot of material to cover, and it is worked through very quickly. Kimble goes through the slides pretty quickly and it can be hard to keep up, but is always willing to work with you in office hours. There is a lot of reading, but most of his exams are based on the lecture slides. His exams are fair, you need to study, but they are doable. His curve is really good, not to hard to pull out a B. There is one research paper, that you should start pretty early and can take a while. But overall not a bad class. He is always willing to talk in office hours and is a really fun guy. He's a real family man, always talking about his daughters, and is completely approachable.
