Matthew Kimble

Professor Kimble is one of the nicest professors in the psychology department. He is very passionate about his jobs and students. He makes the class engaging. I personally did not like the material but it kept me engaged in class.

The class was certainly challenging, but Prof Kimble makes is pretty effort-based and is very receptive to students seeking feedback or guidance, so just about everyone did pretty well in the course. Over the course of the term you work on a research paper, and the final deliverables are a poster, a presentation, and a final research proposal. There is also a quiz and an exam for textbook material, but those were not too hard. Kimble made a kind of dull subject into something very fun, and makes it clear he cares about the students and their success while still challenging them. If you can take this course with Kimble, do!

Professor Kimble is a great professor. Intro Psych was one of my favorite classes and I learned so much. Although his quizzes and exams can be tough, he is a fantastic professor who is passionate about psychology.
