This was a great class overall and one that I would definitely recommend. The professor has a very relaxed and approachable teaching style, which makes the learning environment comfortable and low-stress. He explains concepts clearly and encourages discussion rather than just lecturing, which helps students actually understand the material rather than just memorize it. The topics covered are genuinely useful, both in the short term for other classes and in the long term for professional development. The professor is knowledgeable and approachable outside of class as well, making it easy to ask questions or seek career advice. The workload is reasonable, and the grading is fair, so as long as you stay engaged, it’s not difficult to do well. Overall, it’s one of those classes that manages to be both relaxed and highly valuable — a great balance between learning important material and enjoying the process.

Considine is a super chill teacher. Great guy. Super knowledgeable and an expert in his craft. If you dont like his class or have a hard time with it its simply because you do not give AF. Great guy and can pick up a ton of important and helpful knowledge from him.
This course is a great intro to finance at a liberal arts school. Definitely helpful to understand the role of finance for businesses and get basic modeling skills. Exams are a bit toughly graded but overall good class.
