Marcos Rohena-Madrazo

Marcos is a wonderful and personable professor! He is veryyy approachable professor--you can always attend his office hours and ask him any questions. The workload is very doable and all work was take-home.

Marcos is a very engaging teacher. Their classes are exciting and interesting. They are also a fairly tough grader, and sometimes the readings for class were quite long. Overall, not a bad grammar class.

This course is very interesting in understanding and contextualizing the phonetic variation of the Spanish speaking world. Rohena-Madrazo moves a little too quickly in this course and I suggest some experience in linguistics before taking it, maybe in your first language so that you have a better understanding. However, the class was fun, and the assignments were not super time consuming, the textbook for the class is also easy to read, the chapters are just long.
