Larry Hamberlin

There was very little course work for this class and occasional readings. However, the exams were difficult because you needed to memorize a lot of random songs. Professor Hamberlin was very enthusiastic about the class.

This course is very reading and reading response heavy, luckily however there are no long papers. Main projects are group work which are guided research presentations. Classes are basically all discussions, and it is a pretty unengaging, so pretty easy to zone out if you aren't super invested in the material. Larry is a decent professor, but good at talking and has quite a lulling voice, so get a good night's sleep before this class.

Professor Hamberlin's class is really easy, and the assignments aren't too bad. Just remember to stay on top of the assignments, and go to class for the exams. Its a good filler class, but do not ignore the work.
