Jeremy Ward

There was a lot of exams and weekly quizzes, but they weren't cumulative and no final. He is good at teaching the material but spends more time giving us real world examples instead of going over the basics of what we are learning. I feel like I learned a lot and the assessments made it so I stayed on top of the material.

I absolutely loved this class. Each week, we read the textbook and then created a 1-pager with diagrams and key concepts based on guided reading questions from the chapter. The exams were short and were done during the 50 minute class period, and they weren't difficult. Professor Ward would host office hours the night before each exam where he would go over all of the exam material with you. He also provided you with a study guide for each exam that was extremely helpful. I highly recommend this class with Professor Ward if you need to take BIOL0145.

This course had homework due every week based on the readings so it was pretty easy. We had a total of four exams with professor Ward but he allowed exam revision so you could get points back the exams were not hard as long as you did the readings. We had weekly quizzes also based on the readings. Overall this course did involve some decent amount of time outside of the classroom but it was enjoyable.
