This course was very interesting, especially if you are interested in how medical technology has affected our lives and the ethics behind it. The grade was composed mainly of essays and participation in class.

Professor Ward has a great enthusiasm for the material in Mol Gen, and makes it a very interesting class. A lot of material is covered, but readings are super manageable. Weekly problem sets were the main part of our grade, but he was always willing to talk through them and answer any questions. I also found the lab for this class to be one of the most useful lab classes at Middlebury. Would highly recommend!

Professor Ward is great. His lectures are engaging. The exams are on Canvas and you can earn points back for test corrections. The course is quite interesting. His slides were very minimalist, so you definitely want to take good notes in class because there is not much to refer back to on the slides. Professor Ward is super helpful, and if you don't get something will explain it in a different way.
