Jeremy Ward

I absolutely love Jeremy Ward, he's an effective lecturer, grabs your interest and your conversations with him can last hours. That being said, his class is HARD, I think it's honestly just because bio 145 is a lot but he had quizzes once a week and exams like every three weeks. I personally think that helped me and made sure I was on top of everything so this semester went quick but I def learned a lot. I highly recommend taking this course with him but I will say be ready to bring everything into it

There was a lot of exams and weekly quizzes, but they weren't cumulative and no final. He is good at teaching the material but spends more time giving us real world examples instead of going over the basics of what we are learning. I feel like I learned a lot and the assessments made it so I stayed on top of the material.

I absolutely loved this class. Each week, we read the textbook and then created a 1-pager with diagrams and key concepts based on guided reading questions from the chapter. The exams were short and were done during the 50 minute class period, and they weren't difficult. Professor Ward would host office hours the night before each exam where he would go over all of the exam material with you. He also provided you with a study guide for each exam that was extremely helpful. I highly recommend this class with Professor Ward if you need to take BIOL0145.
