Jason Arndt
Homework was a little agro, and I had to submit notes on every reading, but effective teaching. I felt that sections with a different professor (Macmullin) were a lot easier in terms of homework and exams.
Arnt was an incredibly effective lecturer with lots of relevant study examples that moved the class forward. The class was reading-heavy but his teaching style forced us to be prepared, giving the class more value.
This course was very reading heavy and with Professor Arndt we had to fill out specific notes he gave us for every chapter. This made the workload outside of class very high, especially compared to other teachers. His exams were relatively easy if you put the work in, however he was a bit of a picky grader at times. There were two paper assignments which weren't awful but required a bit of a learning curve. Discussions were easy and fun. I would take this class again with him because of how much I learned
