Jason Arndt
Arndt was a great lecturer. He was clear and enthusiastic. However, it seemed like took pride in having a class that it was extremely hard to get an A in. He showed this in the way he graded his exams and tests, did not make expectations clear, and weighted the grading heavily towards the exams and papers and away from things like participation. He was also extremely unacomodating when it came to late work. If you are purely interested in psychology and just want to learn as much as possible, Arndt is the best professor to take. If you want your grades to reflect your understanding of the material and be consistent with the standards in other classes, I would advise against it.

Took the course with Professor Parshina. She's okay, the lectures are boring and the readings are long. The exams are open note, open book but they're multiple choice and often convoluted. She does not really teach everything but tests on everything. Assignments are not effort based despite being told they were in the syllabus
I enjoyed this course, but the readings were super long and we were required to fill out a reading guide for each one (around 10 pages per week). However, lectures were interesting and he's a nice guy
