Jason Arndt
This course was fantastic! I loved Professor Arndt and I feel as though I remember lots of information that I learned in this course. The homework is time-consuming but essential to course understanding and valuable. I would recommend taking early in college as built into this course is learning how to effectively study. Cannot recommend Arndt and this class enough!
Psychology is a very interesting subject, and this course keeps me engaged. There is a lot of reading, and we have study guides each week: reading pointers that we take notes with when we are reading. This takes up a lot of time outside of class, so if you are going to take it with Professor Arndt, be prepared. It is good to have you remember the information through the recall process. Grading in this class is a bit tough, you have to be exact about things. He wants exam answers to be fully correct and to follow the prompts on the essay very clearly. Overall, this course is interesting, but fast-paced, has lots of reading, and the professor is hard.

Prof. Arndt is very nice and fun to talk to but definitely has high expectations for the students. There's a lot of writing, as expected of a CW, and the final project is something you work on the whole semester with consistent check-in's w/ Ardnt or the TA. I feel like the course was manageable and you do have to do a lot of outside work (collecting research, stats test, etc...) but its sorta fun! The exams are long and are mainly written responses, which need to be thorough and have aspects mentioned from lecture, but overall not too difficult since its open-note, you have about a week to do them, and you can ask for help from Arndt! I wouldn't take it unless i needed it but its not as bad as ppl make it to be.
