Irina Feldman

Professor Feldman was super helpful and encouraging. She was very passionate about the subjects we covered and was very understanding. There was a lot of grammar covered throughout the course, but I do not think the homework and 3 exams were unreasonable. I would not take it again only because I would like to move on to other Spanish courses and I feel like I learned a lot in 220.

I absolutely LOVED Feldman's class. It was incredibly interesting and engaging and I feel so much more confident in my Spanish speaking abilities. At the start of the class I felt that it was going to be too difficult coming from 220 but I reached out to Feldman and expressed my concern and we came up with ways to help me feel more confident and that 100% made such a difference. The readings could certainly be long and hard to read at some times but even if you skimmed a bit, you would be fine. The class discussions also got everyone engaged which was really helpful for improving Spanish.

Feldman is a great professor - she explains material very well, is passionate, and overall is an easy grader. There are no exams - just a oral presentation and a project that we do for a couple of weeks.
