Irina Feldman

I really enjoyed this course. The class itself is very chill and mostly discussion based. You will definitely have to do the readings but they are very interesting and not too long. Feldman is super invested in the content and so lovely I would highly recommend this class.

I really liked the format of this class: doing a reading or watching a movie for homework and then discussing it in class. She really encouraged our participation and let us drive the discussion where we wanted. The material is really interesting and something I never would have come across if I hadn't taken this class. There are two main projects which she gives you plenty of time to complete them and the workload is super manageable.

Very discussion heavy. Prof Feldman is great and always very enthusiastic about the course material. Helpful class for improving speaking and writing skills. Exams felt very reasonable in terms of difficulty
