Irina Feldman

This class was extremely disappointing, as I didn't learn anything. Feldman is a great person, very accommodating and kind, but her teaching style was lacking. She attempted to teach the grammar structures but, overall, just confused everyone. I would take this course with another teacher so you can learn the material.

Professor Feldman is very nice and chill. The class did not require a ton of outside work - there were readings but you could skim them. She really values talking in class, but as long as you try she is happy with you. Would recommend!

While the teacher was obviously very well-educated and interested in the topic, I found their teaching style severely lacking. They focused too much on the grammatical aspects of the language, and didn't encourage the natural learning that comes from use and repitition. I felt that many of the hardest topics in the course could simply have been replaced with raw Spanish exposure rather than painfully long and needlessly complex lectures. The focus on McGraw Hill Connect (an awful program) is also way too high, as it serves little to no purpose in actually aiding the language-learning process.
