Everyday the schuelde was the same and I knew what to expect in class. I thought professor camrud explained htings well and if you had questions he was good about answering them. there was a lot of homework. everynihgt you had to watcha video, take notes, and answer questions about it. in class he would lecture then we would do a problem set with a partner. in place for exams he did a quiz every tuesday with 2 question and you could choose easy, medium, hard to try for points. the final exam was optional, you could retake any quizzes you wanted and get that grade.

Professor Evan is very nice and always willing to help students thrive. He did open-notes quizzes which were easy if you studied for them, and there was no exams. The final project was a paper + presentation on any topics related to DiffEq.

I had a really positive experience in this course, especially because of the professor. He is genuinely kind, patient, and understanding, and it never felt intimidating to ask for help when you were struggling. I also really liked the grading structure. Instead of having one huge midterm and final that determine your grade, there are smaller exams consistently throughout the semester, which makes the course feel much more manageable. At the end, he also gives you opportunities to retake exams and improve your grade, which takes a lot of pressure off and actually gives you a chance to learn from your mistakes. Calculus itself can definitely be challenging, but the way this course is structured and how supportive the professor is makes a huge difference.
