Diffeq was over all an easy course simply because Prof. Camrud is a easy/fair grader. However, I'm not sure I could tell you a single thing I learned in the class because of the flipped classroom method of teaching. Teaching yourself differential equations is no easy task, and we were barely quizzed on anything which meant there little to no motivation to actually remember anything I learned. The weekly quizzes were super straightforward- just watch the lecture videos and know how to do the problems from the Labs in class. The last 2 quizzes of the course were brutal. The final project was really fun and he grades fairly easy, just be organized and clear with your proof writing.

Professor Evan is really nice and very accommodating. However, his flipped classroom style ( you have to watch the lecture and do the homework during class time) may not work for everyone especially when the topics get harder. He doesn't give exams but he gives quizzes every week which are 75% of your grade. Keep in mind that this class has lots of homework + labs, so don't take it with another hard class

Prof. Camrud is awesome and really passionate about math. The class layout is pretty straightforward: you watch lecture videos before class, get a quick mini-lecture when you arrive, and then spend the rest of the time on group assignments. Working in groups is a huge help since you can just ask your peers when you get stuck. If you’ve already taken AB Calc, you’ll feel prepared. As for grading, there are weekly quizzes, but they aren't bad at all. They’re open-note, and you can even argue the rubric if you think you deserve more points.
