Evan Camrud

prof. camrud was awesome- i loved the flipped classroom concept and he was so helpful in office hours. he's clearly super passionate about math and wants his students to succeed. would definitely take this class again

Evan Camrud is KING. I took AP Calc AB as a high school senior and felt very prepared for this class, given that 1/2 of the semester was dedicated to reviewing math topics that I was taught way back in middle school. Assignments were graded on completion, and we'd have weekly quizzes that were 2 questions answered in an open note manner within a 25/30 minute time frame. The professor was great, but I did not feel very supported by the TA's. My only grievance for the course would be the assignment grading system. We would be placed into groups, and everyone's grade would be impacted if someone did not submit their assignment on time. Not really sure why Prof. Camrud did it this way. That's my only complaint though, other than that, fun class and would reccommend it to those interested.

I took AB calc before this and I was very prepared. The structure of this class: lecture videos before each class, then mini lecture at the beginning of class then group assignment. There are weekly quizzes, but they are not bad at all. They are open note and can argue the rubric.
