Emily Proctor

This class was not intuitive for me and was a lot of homework. Nevertheless, the professor was constantly supportive, patient, and made herself available to help. Overall the class was helpful to support my minor (and major).

Professor Proctor loves teaching this course, and that's apparent in her approach. She is one of, if not the, best mathematics professor I have had at Middlebury, and she is dead set on ensuring that you follow along the entire semester and do not get lost. It was my first proof-based math class, and it was not as dreadful as I expected. It is easy to get the hang of it, and I found the problems occasionally fun, especially later into the semester. I would recommend this course to all. It is a fun, challenging, and rewarding math class, and Professor Proctor is terrific.

Professor Proctor is a great professor. She's very accommodating and brings so much joy to the classroom. She also takes a lot of time to review the past lectures to make sure we understand the bigger picture of what we're learning.
