Emily Proctor

Professor Proctor is very lively and enthusiastic. Although the classroom is flipped, she goes through the material in class. She is very good at conceptually explaining the material. Overall, I think this was a great course! I would recommend taking Multivariable Calculus with her if you can.

Emily Proctor is very kind and sweet but Calculus 1 is going to be a grind no matter what. Not super difficult but not a breeze either. Was necessary for my major otherwise I would not have taken any calc classes

Proctor is the best. Her lecture style makes the most sense to me and it is is easy to understand concepts when she is teaching. SHe is also one of the most genuine profs I've met and cares so much about each and every one of her students even if it is just in Calc I. She gets excited whens students do well. There is a lot of homework, but if you do it you will be fine. Also the exams are fairly easy and the practice exams she gives out before are just like the real thing. This is a great course!!
