Emily Proctor

Emily Proctor did an amazing job teaching this course. For a person who never really enjoyed math, Proctor made calculus enjoyable and engaging. The lectures are fast but she's very open to questions and is always able to explain in a way that makes sense. The homework is fairly graded, with good feedback and corrections. For exams we were given study guides with example problems and solutions, and there were seldom surprise questions. Overall, a surprisingly fun class with an understanding and passionate professor.

Professor Proctor is a great math teacher. She explains tricky subjects in ways students understand. She is also very thorough with what she writes on the board. She writes out every important step or idea in complete sentences which is very helpful for notetaking. She is great at partial credit on exams and extremely accommodating with any issues that may arise.

The professor is great, makes material very easy to digest. Grade is dependent on exams but there are a good amount of them. The homework is tough, but manageable and also not worth all that much. Homework is returned quickly and can be a great tool to learn.
