Emily Proctor

Professor Proctor is a great math teacher. She explains tricky subjects in ways students understand. She is also very thorough with what she writes on the board. She writes out every important step or idea in complete sentences which is very helpful for notetaking. She is great at partial credit on exams and extremely accommodating with any issues that may arise.

The professor is great, makes material very easy to digest. Grade is dependent on exams but there are a good amount of them. The homework is tough, but manageable and also not worth all that much. Homework is returned quickly and can be a great tool to learn.

Although Calculus is a daunting topic, Proctor explains the subjects extremely well and is very understanding with students who may not have any previous experience with calculus. There is a fair amount of homework that is due 3 times a week, but it is necessary to learn and understand the topics. Proctor's exams are fair and she gives practice exams so you can adequately prepare for them.
