Emily Proctor

Professor Proctor is really really nice person. She really takes the time to get to know all of her students, and going to her class was always enjoyable because she’s such a positive and encouraging person to be around. Prof. Proctor is also a very generous grader and gives partial credit on test problems, even when the final answer is incorrect. She was always willing to help with any math problem during office hours or after class. You can really tell that Prof. Proctor genuinely wants all of her students to succeed.

Emily Proctor was a great professor for this class. She really made sure each student was heard and was getting the help they needed. That said the material was hard and we had homework every night. Exams were fair and the homework prepared us well for them. She also gave us practice exams before each. She really wanted us to succeed which was nice but the class was very hard.

As long as you stay on top of the homework, you will do well in this class. Professor Proctor is available and excited to answer questions. I found the review sessions before exams to be quite helpful too. Even if the content does not seem to make sense in class, it all comes together with the practice. Overall I would totally take another class with Prof. Proctor!
