I thoroughly enjoyed taking this class. There is a lot of content, but if you are interested in banking and monetary policy it is definitely worth it. If you pay attention and take good notes in class the exams are very fair. There can be some difficult concepts so I recommend office hours.

I really enjoyed taking this course with Professor Munro! It provides a solid foundation in Macroeconomics, and isn't too overwhelming. Prof. Munro manages to cover a wide range of content and the way in which the course is broken down makes it easy to follow. The workload is a little heavy, but manageable. The exams aren't difficult either, provided you're able to keep up with the problem sets (the questions on the exams are very similar). I would strongly recommend going to office hours if you're having a hard time with the course; Prof. Munro is always willing to help out and patiently explain concepts again.

Munro is a great, interesting, and funny person, but is not the best professor, his teaching style isn't very engaging and tends not to teach what the homework is about. He assigns long homeworks with concepts we haven't practiced before. He also loves to assign busy work such as summarizing texts.
