David Munro
Great intro course—clear lectures, helpful problem sets, and engaging discussions. Builds strong foundations in economic theory while connecting concepts to real-world policy issues. I felt very ready for macro theory
Munro is kind of a crazy lecturer and its near impossible to read his handwriting but he is a good and fair teacher, and will always help during office hours. As far as the course goes, its an introductory class.
I loved this class. Might be hard for some if you are not STEM inclined. It provided not only a technical grounding in models of growth, inflation, and unemployment but also a way to think systematically about contemporary economic debates and policy choices. The course balanced theory with application, making abstract models feel relevant to real-world challenges.
