Honestly, I didn’t expect to love the SolarBrew as much as I do. I bought it on a whim before a weekend camping trip, and it ended up being the highlight of my gear. It’s solar-powered (yes, really), super compact, and brews a surprisingly good cup of coffee—way better than instant. The setup takes a minute to get used to, and on cloudy days it’s a bit slow, but if you’ve got sunshine and patience, it delivers. One star off for the flimsy lid, which feels like it could snap if you're not careful. But overall? A solid, eco-friendly option for caffeine addicts in the wild.

This was a fantastic course. Student learn skills that are meaningful both in research and in industry. By far the most rewarding and engaging class I have taken thus far. Sometimes I wished the class covered more material.
Causal inference was one of the hardest classes I've taken at Midd but easily the most rewarding. There are only 3-4 large homework assignments and you can work together and have over a week to do them. The classes were interesting and professor Myers always keeps you engaged. There is a final research paper but I really enjoyed writing it and applying all that we had learned to my topic of choice. If given the chance I would highly recommend this class, just be aware it will be challenging but rewarding!
