Introduction to Psychology  This course will provide a general introduction to the field of psychology. The most central and important theories, concepts, findings, controversies, and applications in the following areas will be considered: biological bases of behavior, learning, perception, thinking, development, personality, psychological disorders, and social behavior. (Open to Juniors and Seniors by waiver only) 3 hrs lect./1 hr. disc.

Prof. Nordmeyer is a very kind and accommodating professor. Exams are straight forward, short, and easy. The class consists of required reading each week and 3 exams where you're allowed a single-sided cheat sheet. It is very structured and if you take notes in class you'll be fine. 

This course was what you would expect from an intro course. The assignments and exams were never too difficult and it helped that we were allowed to have a cheat sheet during exams. I enjoyed the Think Like a Psychologist activities where we thought about the methods of previously done experiments or how we would craft an experiment.

This class was pretty easy. There are three exams where you can bring notesheets with all the information. Her slides are detailed and she is super organized. Definitely take it with her if you can. She also didn't have a discussion section on fridays.
