Considering how difficult the material for this course is, I thought Das did an exceptional job explaining concepts thoroughly and clearly. Lectures aren't always the most engaging, but I mean cmon it's a course about algorithms and complexity what do you expect. Unsure why Das gets such bad reviews— I've found her to be accommodating, kind, and a really effective teacher. Show up, pay attention, and you'll be fine.

Unfortunately, it is a shame that professor Das was selected to teach such a foundational course to computer science that has the potential to really inspire kids to build. The material itself was not bad at all, but you unfortunately had to teach yourself everything. I am sure this course via youtube or other professors is great; I would advice in not taking it with Das.

Overall a tough course. I didn't love Das' teaching style - pretty bland and unenthusiastic which was too bad because it could have been a lot more interesting. Overall it was a pretty tough class but necessary.
