Prof Juvshik is a fun and engaging professor. This class is thought provoking and a very nice introduction to philosophy. He is very accommodating to needs (as long as you email ahead) and gives extensions when needed. The course material is extremely interesting and the readings are relevant and not too long

This course is very interesting and Tim Juvshik is an amazing professor. The class is very ethics heavy, and the material is very interesting especially in today's world. Prof. Juvshik memorizes everyone's faces and names before you even show up to the first class, and his passion for the class and connection with students reflects this behavior. The class is very heavily focused on you participating in discussion and engaging with the very reasonable readings in the class. The material is very approachable and readings are easy reads. If I take another class in the philosophy department I would love for it to be with Professor Juvshik.

Prof Juvshik grades fair although his feedback can be curt sometimes. He is passionate and a fun professor, the discussions are engaging and the readings are fair and for the most part very interesting and relevant. Occasionally the readings are dense
