Sunder Ramaswamy
ECON
Professor Ramaswamy expertly handled a relatively (considering Middlebury standards) large class, inviting people to ask questions and involve themselves in the discussions. He ended most of the classes with big picture thinking about economic problems that we see in every day life (e.g. surge pricing on uber).
Prof. Ramaswamy was a great teacher who loved to delve into students questions with a slight tendency to ramble but overal great teacher. About one homework assignment over the weekend which was always very doable.
Ramaswamy is a great professor but he also expects a lot from the students in return. It is a fun intellectual exchange. The class requires you to read a bunch write few essays and also look at india in the lens of data.
