Sunder Ramaswamy
Professor Ramaswamy is amazing, and it's very obvious that he loves doing what he does. But I don't really recommend taking microeconomics as your first econ class, rather try and take macro economics. This class is very math intensive compared to macro economics and you can get lost very easily
Although he tends to ramble a bit, Professor Ramaswamy is an incredibly passionate and thorough instructor whose occasionally meandering tone can sometimes distract from his interest in not only the material but also in his students learning the material. He is incredibly understanding and I would highly recommend getting to know him if you take one of his courses.
It was a decent class. I definitely think you could find an easier/better professor. I got the impression he would rather have been teaching higher level classes and for that reason didn't really connect with the students. I do think I learned a lot and he had great examples to explain things
