Steven Pecsok
Prof. Pecsok is an amazing Econ professor. He is very passionate about what he teaches, however is an incredibly harsh grader. His exams are insanely hard and he grades like you stole his puppy or something. If you go to his office hours he will absolutely help you, but actual grading is harsh.
Professor Pecsok cold calls a lot, but otherwise he is a really nice guy. He seems to really know his stuff and he teaches mainly with his slides and examples. Although sometimes he explains simple concepts in unnecessarily complex ways, he is still a pretty solid teacher. His grading is a bit harsh and confusing sometimes. but overall good teacher for intro to micro
I took this course for a distribution and to build a surface-level understanding of markets. I think it's valuable information, and Prof. Pecsok is clearly enthusiastic and competent in the material, but I really struggled with his presentation style. I found explanations sometimes wandering and unintuitive, and had similar experiences in one-on-one help. Not a math person, though, so that component was a little harder for me.
