Steven Pecsok
The content of microeconomics is what it is, but he would give a bunch of extra credit to accommodate, and the classes were actually fun and light. He would make jokes and play around, a really cool dude. But some people didn't like his teaching, because he sometimes didn't explain things the best.
The course material itself is easy to get through and the weekly homework wasn't too bad. Prof Pecsok's teaching style didn't work for me, the lectures are unorganized and can get very boring. He also cold calls all the time and there's no set schedule for the class, so it's always confusing going into the class no knowing the topic of discussion or whether there is a quiz or not.
The course was a valuable basic microeconomics course that covered more broad topics of economics and also had you doing weekly homework sets where some math was involved and there was a lot of conceptualization. The homeworks were very important and helpful. Professor Pecsok was a nice person, however when it came to the material during class lectures, he tended to be unengaging and disorganized. I also didn't like that he would constantly cold call. Overall the class was okay, but I would only take it to fill a requirement.
