Steven Pecsok

Professor Pecsok's Intro Microeconomics class is a great way to learn more about how the United States works within itself. His class is very relaxed with notes everyday, the occasional pop quiz, and some difficult exams.

Professor Pecsok is very kind and genuinely wants his students to succeed. The material itself is pretty manageable with weekly problem sets and reasonable homework, although some of the exam and quiz questions can be tricky. His lectures are sometimes a bit slow and unstructured and he does cold call fairly often. He is very helpful during office hours and happy to explain concepts multiple ways if you’re struggling. Grading is generally fair. Overall, I would recommend taking the class with him, especially if you are willing to go to office hours and be on top of the readings and problem sets.

Prof Pecsok can have quite a slow paced lecturing style but he is helpful during office hours. He is also super accommodating, a really nice prof to work with. The course itself isn’t hard but some exam questions are tricky. Go to office hours and ask questions
