Introductory Microeconomics An introduction to the analysis of such microeconomic problems as price formation (the forces behind demand and supply), market structures from competitive to oligopolistic, distribution of income, and public policy options bearing on these problems.

Economics of Agricultural Transition In 1860 farmers made up over half the population of this country and fed about 30 million people.  Today they number 2% of the population and produce more than enough to feed 300 million people.  In this course we will look at the history, causes, and results of this incredible transformation.  While studying the economic forces behind the changing farming structure, we will examine farm production, resources, technology, and agricultural policy.  Field trips to local farms and screenings of farm-related videos and movies will incorporate the viewpoint of those engaged in agriculture. (ECON 0150 or ECON 0155)  2hrs. lect., 2 hrs. lab

Professor Pecsock was a very nice guy, and offered extra help to go over homeworks. Class was pretty fast paced and could get confusing, but he was always willing to help students. Homeworks gave an accurate look at the material on each exam.

I really enjoyed taking Intro Micro with professor Pecsok. Such a great professor with a great personality. The course can be fast paced in class but if you go to office hours, you will be fine! He is very helpful 

Interesting topic and material was interesting. Class lectures were a bit confusing, but office hours are very helpful. The homework are very valuable in terms of preparing for the exams. The exams are manageable.
