Sean Peters

As our first year advisor, Professor Peters was very responsible and caring. The class was consisted of many constant readings(that's the nature of first year seminars), but they're really helpful and have many intriguing points that can be used in papers. In-class discussions are intense but you can say whatever you're thinking. Professor Peters reviewed our papers very carefully, and did detailed handwriting comments on them. He's very multicultural and understands students' difficulties. His office hours are like therapy meetings for me--he encouraged students and saw our individual potentials!

Sean is such an awesome professor, and you can tell how enthusiastic he is about the material he teaches. He is always helpful when it comes to concepts that you may be confused about. I went to multiple of his office hours, and every time he was incredibly patient in his explanation. I would highly recommend this course to anyone interested in ECSC.

SO SO SO fun you have to take this course before you leave midd. its so fun and i wish i could take it again and again eassite class at Middlebury and made me relove to learn science and mad me want to pursue a minor in earth and climate sciences.
