Great German class. Very chill and relaxed. Daily homework but they are easy and not super high stakes. Unit tests that are also not very hard. Have to be pretty active to get the most out of conversational practice.

Intermediate German with Roman Graf is a great experience. Roman is incredibly talented at leading discussions. His personality is very amicable and this makes students speak comfortably. The class is heavy discussion based upon the textbook readings. Participation is expected. Homework amount is fair. Prof Roman is very kind and accommodating to student needs. As with all German Department teacher, Roman is a great educator.
