Roberto Lint Sagarena

This class is laid back. There are occasional lectures, but often class time was filled up with small group discussions on the weekly readings and a screening of some sort. Professor Lint Sagarena is a very knowledgeable professor, and you will be deeply immersed in all the nuances of the topic at hand. Only real homework is 4 total essays, 4-6 pages, reacting to the material. Readings and essays can take up to 10-12 hours on the weeks you decide to take them on. Very manageable.

This course is a once a week class with a bunch of reading in between so it wasnt specifically my jam. That being said I think Roberto is amazing so if you are interested in the topic he is an amazing professor and this class is fairly light besides the 2-3 sizable papers you do throughout the term.

I really enjoyed this course, it has weekly screenings and readings. There are 4 essays throughout the semester and weekly quizzes, as well as a final project. The screenings were very interesting and sometimes very sad, but the professor is understanding and allows you to leave if you feel uncomfortable.
