The labs consisted of going to child care centers in town and doing observations based on what we learned in class. It was interesting to actually see some of these concepts actually form in kids as young as 4. The main components of this class were the lectures, readings, and transformative groups. The transformative groups were a great way to talk about and reflect with classmates about the topics like earliest friendships and how they influence you today. The major papers were comp assignments which had you draw from the readings in a creative way like creating a story book for the children at our labs. I think this course was very enjoyable, that being said professor Moeller loves to implement AI into our assignments anyway he can. That can lead to more convenient ways of structuring or revising our assignments but maybe it can be a bit hard to navigate for students who haven't been using AI as much. However it isn't that serious, as AI is just something he recommends for some assignments.

This course was unique, and, being taught by Professor Moeller, enthusiastic. The lab component was really special. Interacting with children at the daycare made all the psychological theories (that can become mundane), applied. It was a valuable experience.
