Discussion is over Zoom so it tends to be pretty poor quality, and this environment seems to encourage lack of engagement (even if it's not an issue for yourself, it does manifest in your classmates, which I wasn't the biggest fan of). That being said, I enjoyed this class just because of the case reviews of financial crimes, and the professor is a pretty good lecturer and her passion shines through. She also has connections and internship suggestions that are very intriguing! Assignments are extremely easy, and there are no papers.

Super interesting elective with lots of hands-on projects and discussions of recent events. The only downside is that it's taught online, which can make discussions tedious, but the professor is super enthusiastic about the material and assigns projects that are interesting and fun. I would definitely recommend this course.
If you can get over this class being online, I would highly recommend it. The material is valuable, interesting, and presented in short readings or videos. There were a couple quizzes where the answers were given in class before you took them and the major projects were fun and mostly focused on presentations and diagrams rather than writing. Grading was super easy. Take this if you have the chance.
