Super interesting elective with lots of hands-on projects and discussions of recent events. The only downside is that it's taught online, which can make discussions tedious, but the professor is super enthusiastic about the material and assigns projects that are interesting and fun. I would definitely recommend this course.

If you can get over this class being online, I would highly recommend it. The material is valuable, interesting, and presented in short readings or videos. There were a couple quizzes where the answers were given in class before you took them and the major projects were fun and mostly focused on presentations and diagrams rather than writing. Grading was super easy. Take this if you have the chance.

Probably one of my favorite classes I've taken at Midd. Really laid back. Class was scheduled for zoom 3 times a week, but sometimes we only met once for 50 mins. A lot of the assignments are group work, but the professor gives you a lot of time to work on it and gives feedback when you ask for it.
