McKinley Brumback

I thought this course was really interesting. it is structured with 1 problem set each week and a quiz every other week. If you pay attention in class and take notes it should be pretty easy. The math is algebra based. The content is super interesting about stars and light and professor Brumback makes the material as engaging as possible. There is also a lab section once a week which can be boring.

I can't say I've ever really been a physics person, but Prof. Brumback was by far the best experience I had with any physics prof. She has great examples and demonstrations, and she made it feel a lot easier than it really is - honestly, I thought this class was substantially easier than 108/109

Amazing teacher and amazing course. I did this for a distribution requirement. Brumback was the most organized teacher I have ever seen. She had everything you could ever need for support clearly posted on the Canvas site. Labs are interesting and not too hard. Homework is graded tough, but the questions aren't that hard. Highly recommend.
