The course is well structured into 2 lectures and 1 quiz/exam session per week. The quizzes/exams are not tough (they usually have their answers directly in the book/ the lecture), but there is a reason to be careful because each point is worth 5.55% in quizzes and despite one quiz would be dropped, any major error could mean much in the overall grade. Apart from that there are two very short papers and a group presentation, which are both not that hard.

I actually took this Fall 2024 but couldn’t pick that option. We had weekly quizzes, and every third week, we had an exam, which normally went over 3 chapters of the textbook. The exams weren’t cumulative. We had to read a chapter every week, and each chapter was around 40 pages, but it wasn’t bad. We also had to write two short papers (2 pages max) and do a group presentation. The quizzes consist of info from the textbook and class discussion, and they weren’t too bad. Overall, I really enjoyed the class and would take it again.

Easy workload with very interesting material. Has weekly quizzes over information from the readings and lectures that are usually pretty straightforward. 2 required papers but they're short and prof is an easy grader
