Lindsay Repka

Professor Repka is extremely smart. It was difficult to focus sometimes in the large lecture hall, but the content was understandable. Her lectures were more bullet points than full sentences, and there were plenty of examples for each topic. Professor Repka is also helpful during office hours. If I had to take this course again, I would take it with her and be more vigilant with the reading.

Lindsay Repka was a very nice person, but her overall teaching style was pretty poor. She was clearly a very smart woman, but was not good at explaining concepts to our level or clarifying points. She often went slow in lecture and did easy practice problems, but exams would be much more difficult and didn't always match what we did in class. There is definitely a reason she isn't getting tenured.

I think Professor Repka is a very sweet person, and is visibly passionate about what she's teaching. However, I did not find her to be the most effective instructor. Often found myself having to relearn things on my own.
