Linamarie Miller

Prof Miller is super nice and fair. If you study the material on the slides you will do well on the exams. She was very clear in her expectations, even providing a list of topics to study for each exam. She is also very helpful in office hours. She made Biochem a lot less intimidating.

Linamarie is wonderful. Such a passionate prof, super accomodating, and I thought the way she taught the class in lectures was well thought out and easily applicable to her exams/psets. Didn't love discussion, I just felt like it wasn't necessary, and would have loved to have a lab instead to be completely honest.

Dr. Miller is fantastic and one of the best profs. I've had here in the chemistry department. She was great at explaining concepts, and although she did go fast during lecture, she was willing to slow down if needed. She included a lot of partner discussion and group discussion, and was a very fair grader. Her exams were extremely reasonable, and I learned a good deal from this course. Discussion sections consisted of weekly partner presentations from different groups on a dense biochemistry paper, but the skills learned in primary literature analysis were beneficial.
