Kristina Sargent

Prof. Sargent was clearly very passionate about the material and genuinely cares about her students. Class is fast paced, as you move through a lot of material, but nothing crazy. Exams are not difficult if you do the problem sets. One of the final projects is a presentation in front of the whole class. Definitely good to work in a group and good experience presenting.

This was definitely a difficult class to take, especially with Sargent, but if you take the time to attend office hours, tutoring hours, or one-on-one tutoring, you will do well. If she sees how hard you are working, she can be very accommodating and will do her best to help you succeed. She is also full of energy, which makes the class very engaging.

I had a good time in this class. I really believe that Prof Sargent loves this material. She brought energy to every class which made learning relatively difficult material more interesting and engaging. I would recommend, and if you have Prof. Sargent rest assured that you will learn the material.
