I took the class with Sargent and there were exams that were on the surface level fair and the content was what was discussed in class, but the way she graded it was completely unfair. In class she even mentioned how econ grades needed to be lower and she was carrying out that task. Don't expect the homeworks to be easy or grade-boosting either; AI is useless for them. For the final any exam you nmissed was added to your finals weight.

Great senior seminar for International Politics and Economics. No need for econometrics or regression analysis, just fine with Economic Statistics. Weekly news presentations, twice academic paper presentations. Daily reading quiz. Final paper with dataset and bibliography.

The class is pretty hard and the exams are very difficult but Professor Sargent gives corrections that make everything okay. The homework is graded very easily, along with the final presentation, the grading is easy which makes up for the fact as I mentioned earlier the exam are hard. She is energetic and loves teaching the material and is very approachable with questions, making the class enjoyable for some parts.
