Khyree Davis
Overall probably one of the most important classes to take at Middlebury I definitely recommend. There is lots of reading in the course but they are always interesting. There are papers but they are short and he is a fair grader. The final project is fun I did a group video essay it was a good experience
Personally, since I had a really difficult schedule this class was pain to get through in terms of readings. Readings could be dense and up to 60 pages total. But the main issue was that we were required to take notes. We didn't some requirements about the (1 question, 1 thing that connected with you) and least a page long. He would grade these notes. Otherwise the class was fine, the assignments were unique such creating a playlist, map, and creating a syllabus for reading at your own pace guide. Davis himself is pretty nice with for all the other assignments.

Extremely interesting class. We learned a lot about modern surveillance technologies, as well as about the history of surveillance and its roots in slavery. The projects were fun and really pushed you to reflect on the role of surveillance in your own life.
