Professor Weber is awesome, all the homework for the entire semester is scheduled from the first day of class and each class covers the homework from the night before. The work itself isn't super hard but there's kinda a lot and it never stops. There's a requirement to go to language tables every week and 3 culture events at the French house which I enjoyed. There's 8 tests so each one isn't super impactful which takes some stress off.

Professor Weber is a super enthusiastic and accommodating teacher. His lectures are engaging and interactive. There are eight tests, two oral exams throughout the semester, and no final. The tests are mostly straightforward, meaning if you read the textbook and make sure to study, you will do well. The course moves very fast, and I strongly recommend taking this course if you are trying to learn French!

I liked Weber's class! I thought he was engaging and worked with the set syllabus well. His lecture style is slow and annunciated, so pretty easy to understand. The class had around four larger exams/essays and then smaller writing assignments throughout, all of which were manageable.
