German Reyes

Regression is a tough course, and with Reyes, it was no different. We spent most of the class doing tough proofs that made it hard, actually, to understand the papers we were reading. He ended up curving the class so grading wasn't quite as tough, but not my favorite.

Professor Reyes is an amazing teacher. He understands the content extremely well and is very effective at teaching it to students. He is a very kind individual and is happy to help and answer questions. He is an ideal teacher for Middlebury College.

This was definitely one of the most challenging classes I have taken at Middlebury, but also one of the most valuable. The exams are a bit difficult, but if you keep up with the homework and ask questions, you will be fine. He listens to feedback and has made big improvements throughout the semester. He’s clearly passionate about what he teaches and genuinely wants students to understand the material. Overall, this class requires a significant amount of time and effort, but it’s well worth it. I would recommend it if you are ready to put in the work.
