Erin Sassin
This course was so exciting. The coursework and readings were meticulously selected and were extremely helpful in situating architecture in the modern world. I recommend taking this course after Premodern because it picks up right where Premodern left off, making the transition seamless. I enjoyed the professor's enthusiasm and lecture style. The exams are open notes, so if you take excellent notes, you will be just fine. The professor's office hours are also very helpful, and to get the most out of the class, I would recommend attending a few times over the semester to touch base. They are also a good resource for any architecture major questions.

I really enjoyed this course! Professor Sassin is a very good lecturer, though she does move at a quick pace. The hardest part for me was the sheer amount of readings/topics covered in class. I walked away feeling like I learned a lot about architecture and I often think about this class as I go through my daily life.
This was a great course. Prof Sassin is from the Detroit area so she knows a lot about the content. She is extremely passionate and helpful. For a CW, there was not that much writing which made it a pretty laid back class. Would take again.
